A Tarot Tale I have been doing Tarot readings for more then 15 years and have never charged anyone to do them. Of course my clients gave me something for the reading. Money, gifts, and thank you’s. And each time I've done them I have learned something new!~~ Also, with the friends who just wanted to pretend to be reading, there was something to learn from them. I have tried to learn how to do crystals, palm, and rune readings. And they are not easy. Half the time I just read how the book when I am doing the readings. I try to read other books about them, but some of it is so technical it overwhelmed me. Some of the Tarot readings I have done were right on and some were not. There were times when I did a reading for someone and I could not read what the cards were telling me. Then I asked them if they believed in any of it and they told me no! What was the point of doing the reading if you were not going to put any power to it? Over the years I started and stopped. I always felt like there should be more to my readings, but I could not see what it was. Every time I've done them, I would forget what I told my clients. Strange huh? Don't get me wrong. I try to have an open mind... I'm just closed minded in how to think open-mindedly. I want to help man kind for in my mind, everyone has done me a favor and waiting for their turn. |
