Offering the best tarot readings, psychic counselli8ng, Astrology, Numerology, Tea Leaf readings for Corporate Parties, Special Events of all types, large or small, showers, stagettes, girls' nights, spa events, Trade Shows, weddings, Bar Mitzvahs and individual readings. Tara has delivered over 15,000 accurate enlightening insightful and fun readings since 1991 in Toronto and the GTA.
What inspired you to launch your own website?
I wanted to reach out to people and provide insights, information and predictions using Astrology and psychic energies. I have been writing an ongoing regularly updated Astrology column of great depth offering advice on what to do as the planets align and change.
When did you launch your first website, and what was it?
In 2002 I launched on tripod. It started as promotion and predictive information regularly updated, Some history of the Tarot,meanings of planets, world astrology and events.
How did you decide on a name for your website?
This happened because I was referred to as Tara Tarot Reader in a a magazine article and I liked the aliteration, although some find it a bit of a tongue twister. I am heard round the world regularly on the xzone radio network and the host always says it's a tongue twister. but it's my name and what I do, self-explanatory and short.
What makes your website different from other, similar offerings?
Unlike other psychic sites that promote phone line psychics, I am the real thing,psychic since birth, devoted,authentic, passionate about Tarot, Astrology, counselling and advising in my Tarot readings, Astrology and intuitive work. I do a lot of Corporate events and private parties. I have done over 15,000 readings for individuals since 1991 and always get great feedback and amazing testimonials. I write a lot, usually 2,000 original words a week in my Astrology column, this is not computerized stuff. I bring depth, mythology, symbolism, rituals and meditations for every important cosmic event that unfolds. I am mainly promoting to my local area where I am hired by companies and individuals to read Tarot at events and parties and for individuals.
What is your eventual goal? (To sell it, keep it for income, secure a book or other mainstream media deal?)
I want a column,a TV show, a movie,I'm writing a book. I want to be recognized as an inspiring source of wisdom. I want to uplift Tarot and Astrology to their ancient positions of wisdom oracles,which were used to advise royalty,and as serious paths to enlightenment that anybody can use and understand so that they can grow spiritually.
How does your investment of time and money balance against your success?
The more I put out, the more I write and promote the more comes back to me.
If you had an unlimited development budget for development, how would you change your site?
I would make it more interactive, devise my own form of oracles, have much more material available.
If your site got really big, really quickly, would you be able to keep up with the demand?
It has and I have.
What unexpected costs and headaches have you had to deal with?
The usual computer mishaps, links, I am not really a techie, so would like to have great people to help me promote and manage all that I have to do.
What has been your biggest challenge?
Keeping up with the writing,emailing, having enough time to be ahead of the game, juggle bringing other psychic and entertainers to large corporate events, shifting from right brain to left brain.
What method has been most successful for promoting your website?
Writing regular articles and emailing regularly.
How has running your website differed from your expectations?
I thought it would be simpler. I want the telepathic computer that reads my mind and does it all.
How long have you run the site already, and how long will you continue to keep it up if you don't enjoy big gains in traffic, income or popularity?
I have run my site since 2002 and will continue becuase it is the easiest way to have a world wide audience. I really enjoy feeling that I am reaching out to people.
