Spiritual Life Design is a comprehensive website and journal spanning alternative modalities in healing. For instance, one can read about healing gemstones, order a set of healing jewelry made specifically for you, schedule an energy session, and even learn how to make your own home made yogurt! Anything that falls under health and healing, Spiritual Life Design is the place to find it.
What inspired you to launch your own website?
A few years ago, I had a health crisis of my own. Traditional western medicine was not the path for me, and I had to find my own way. This website is to help people find their own way in healing themselves.
What different medicines do you write about on Spiritual Life Design?
A reader will find information about Ayurveda, Reflexology, Chinese Medicine, Herbal Medicine, Gemstone information, Tibetan Medicine, Energy Medicine, just to name a few.
Is there one modality which you are partial to?
Not really! I personally believe that every medical modality plays its role. I personally believe that the key is balance and following your own intuition.
What makes your website different from other, similar offerings?
Spiritual Life Design is not just a place for information, but a place of service. It seems to me that most other businesses of this type, offer either information or services only. Rarely have I seen free information in great detail with services as a foundation!
What is your eventual goal? (To sell it, keep it for income, secure a book or other mainstream media deal?)
This is my life's work. I will keep it until I can no longer breathe.
How does your investment of time and money balance against your success?
You'd have to ask my clients that question. In their health, I am successful. If I have caused someone to understand how to rid themselves of toxins... I am successful.
If you had an unlimited development budget for development, how would you change your site?
Oh, do I have the answer for this. I would publish a comprehensive book and distribute it for FREE to every single person I ever came into contact with.
What would be in the book?
The first topic would be toxin removal. Half the book would probably be about toxins and how they are what is making us sick. We have the ability to rid ourselves of these elements, and people are just unaware!
What unexpected costs and headaches have you had to deal with?
On a business level, I've been quite lucky. I haven't had many Large unexpected costs. Sometimes we make investments in time and money that don't work out how we imagined, but in the end it all seems to even out.
What has been your biggest challenge?
Getting more exposure!
What method has been most successful for promoting your website?
Hands down, client referrals. We all have to stick together. Good information is hard to come by and making connections with people who are real, are even more elusive!
How has running your website differed from your expectations?
It has Exceeded my expectations!
How long have you run the site already, and how long will you continue to keep it up if you don't enjoy big gains in traffic, income or popularity?
I started the site in 2005, and I will keep it going for as long as I'm breathing!
If you had one piece of advice to give every single person, what would it be?
Drink More Water!
