Currently Spiritual-Healing.biz contains interviews and articles by Alex Telman, Spiritual Healer, who works from Brisbane, Australia. This is the first step to developing a Spiritual and Healing on line community.
What inspired you to launch your own website?
With 30 years experience as a Spiritual Healer, I am dedicated to the Practice of Spiritual and Psychic Healing Methods that will Eliminate all forms of Negative Energies from your Personal, Home and Business Environments. Spiritual-Healing.biz is my attempt to take this message to the wider community.
When did you launch your first website, and what was it?
I first launched a Natural Therapies web site in 2006 - www.natural-earth.com
Prior to this I had launched art websites since 1997.
How did you decide on a name for your website?
Spiritual-Healing.biz describes exactly what I do as a Spiritual Healer. I have been doing this work for many years and people asked that I put some of my interviews on line. The internet is the best forum for this.
What makes it different from other, similar offerings?
Spiritual-Healing.biz is a developing project. At the moment it only contains my interview, a few articles and my services. Ultimately it will be a full on community. I have another site I am working on at the moment - www.Conscientology.com which will outline the theoretical basis to my belief system. both Conscientology.com and Spiritual-Healing.biz will be 2 sides of the one coin.
What is your eventual goal? (To sell it, keep it for income, secure a book or other mainstream media deal?)
My eventual goal is to develop a like minded spiritual and healing community; where people can exchange ideas freely.
How does your investment of time and money balance against your success?
My success is linked to the spiritual entities I cross over- they are my real clients. People pay my bills of course, but it is in the Spirit Realm that I do my real work.
If you had an unlimited development budget for development, how would you change your site?
I wouldn't change a thing. I am happy to have a simple web site. But if I had unlimited funds I would set up a college to teach people my work. There are not enough REAL Spiritual healers in the world.
If your site got really big, really quickly, would you be able to keep up with the demand?
It is difficult enough to keep up with the demand now. I would have to teach others to do the work.
What unexpected costs and headaches have you had to deal with?
Time is the biggest factor. If anyone wants to operate a practice and set up a website themselves I would suggest taking a 2 week 'break' and working 15 hours a day to do it properly.
Planning is also an issue. I advise people to plan plan and then plan some more before starting their site.
What has been your biggest challenge?
Time and people who do not understand the work asking cynical questions and making cynical comments. Ironically it is the people who are the most cynical who need Spiritual Healing the most.
What method has been most successful for promoting your website?
Search engine submissions, Forums. Myspace. Link swaps; though because Spiritual-Healing.biz is a new site I have not done that yet. But with Natural-Earth.com, I have thousands of link swaps.
How has running your website differed from your expectations?
It can be very time consuming. So time management is critical.
How long have you run the site already, and how long will you continue to keep it up if you don't enjoy big gains in traffic, income or popularity?
Spiritual-Healing.biz has been up 2 weeks and had 400 visitors last week so there is not much action there as yet. Natural-Earth.com gets 25,000 visitors a month and THAT is a fair bit of work- especially updating and responding to emails.
