The main feature of Virtual-Meditation.Com, the Celestial Sanctum, can be best described as a Virtual Meditation Room. The Celestial Sanctum is a Sacred Space that you can enter for such things as Meditation, Spiritual / Energy Healing, Attracting Abundance, and Attaining Cosmic Consciousness or Spiritual Enlightenment. The main Intention of Virtual-Meditation.Com is to provide an opportunity for conscious beings from around the world to come together, forming a group consciousness focused on spiritual enlightenment and healing. By merging your spiritual energies with others who are Present in a virtual meditation room (the Celestial Sanctum) you will receive many benefits, as well as helping to raise the conscious awareness of everyone on the planet.
What inspired you to launch your own website?
I have been looking for a convenient way to meditate in the Presence of others for quite some time now. Finding the time and space to arrange this was not always easy. Since I belive that on a spiritual level time and space do not exist, I thought why not create a virtual space where people from around the world could enter and literally 'energetically' connect with each other.
When did you launch your first website, and what was it?
I initially launced this site about 1 year ago under a different URL (gatewaytospiritualenlightenment.com). I have just recently changed the URL of my site to virtual-meditation.com. I now have members from around the world (e.g Germany, England, Canada, etc.).
How did you decide on a name for your website?
Since the main feature of my website is a virtual meditation room I felt that www.virtual-meditation.com was a good name. The original name for my website was too long and I understand that most searh engines would read the old URL as one word. In my new URL virtual and meditation are separated by a '-' which I understand will get better search engine rankings.
What makes it different from other, similar offerings?
I have yet to find another website that offers this kind of service. I have seen many websites offering virtual meditation but the opportunity to spiritually connect with others in a virtual meditation room to my knowledge is unique.
What is your eventual goal? (To sell it, keep it for income, secure a book or other mainstream media deal?)
Membership numbers to Virtual-Meditation.Com have continued to grow. My belief is that as new members continue to join this website the spiritual strength of the Virtual-Meditaiton.com community will also grow, contributing more to personal and planetary spiritual awakening.
If you had an unlimited development budget for development, how would you change your site?
I would reduce the number of hours that I work in my counselling practice and spend more time writing articles and updating content on my site.
If your site got really big, really quickly, would you be able to keep up with the demand?
I hope so.
What unexpected costs and headaches have you had to deal with?
None so far.
What has been your biggest challenge?
Finding the time to properly market.
What method has been most successful for promoting your website?
I have not actively promoted my website yet.
How long have you run the site already, and how long will you continue to keep it up if you don't enjoy big gains in traffic, income or popularity?
I have been running this site for about 1 year now. Based on the amount of interest that my site has already generated without any real marketing efforts I anticipate that it will be quite successful and would therefore keep it running for as long as I could.
