Spiritual Discoveries empowers participants the opportunity to explore and discover the power that gifted them with life through experimentation, self observation and a willingness to change what must to realize the purpose of their own being. I am delighted to share my spiritual discoveries and blessings as your stepping stones to advancement in your spiritual growth. You will surely find authentic happiness and spiritual serenity concerning your inner spiritual journey.
What inspired you to launch your own website?
I had listened to an audio called "Multiple Streams of Income" by Robert Allen and one of the streams of income presented on this audio was "Affiliate Marketing" which perked my ears up. I knew I wanted to Work From Home and I believed with the proper training that I could build an Affiliate Website. And so with 16 weeks of phone training through Omni Business Solutions and unlimited access to SEO weekly lesson computer training and 24/7 online help how could I go wrong. The rest is history and I am now a very proud webmaster.
My goal is to continuously write good content webpages and bring quality recommended products to the marketplace as stepping stones to advancement in spirtual growth.
When did you launch your first website, and what was it?
This is my first website.
How did you decide on a name for your website?
First I had to decide what my true passion was so I would not lose interest in writing content for my website. I chose to write about spiritual explorations. Then I did a keyword search to see if there was a market for my chosen subject. I also made sure that the competition was under 1 million. So I chose the keyword "Spiritual Discoveries". Next, through some brainstorming I came up with the title for my website "Grow with Spiritual Discoveries".
What makes it different from other, similar offerings?
Through my own personal spiritual journey I am presenting what has worked for me. For the last 5 years and ongoing I have extensively read and listened to author and self-realization teacher Guy Finley from the "Life of Learning Foundation". For over 25 years, Guy Finley has been showing individuals the Way to a life of freedom, enduring fulfillment, and true purpose. Through my studies, I believe my website "Grow with Spiritual Discoveries" is the stepping stones to spiritual growth where participants can discover the courage and wisdom to change what must in order to realize the purpose of their own being.
What is your eventual goal? (To sell it, keep it for income, secure a book or other mainstream media deal?)
I plan to keep my website and grow along with it as I research, learn and write quality content. As an added benefit I am earning an income.
How does your investment of time and money balance against your success?
On July 24th, 2007 I knew nothing more than how to open an email and surf the web. On July 25th, 2007 I began to learn how to build a website. With no prior experience, I knew that I would have to invest in whatever time it took to complete my assignments with my coach. My coach held me accountable and I accepted the challenge because I loved what I was doing. When you are learning anything new there is always a price to pay. When you are not in a big rush then you can learn at a much faster pace. It is in ones own attitude whether they are successful at what they do or not. I believe I am.
What unexpected costs and headaches have you had to deal with?
I have had no unexpected costs and have had no headaches just a few challenges but I have made it through. I'm sure there will be more to come and I will make it through them too.
What has been your biggest challenge?
My biggest challenge is pulling myself away from what I love to do to meet the demands of my daily life and keep my sanity about it.
What method has been most successful for promoting your website?
I have had the most success with directories so far.
How has running your website differed from your expectations?
It has been simply rewarding and delivered to my satisfaction.
How long have you run the site already, and how long will you continue to keep it up if you don't enjoy big gains in traffic, income or popularity?
I have run the site for 6 months and plan on keeping it up no matter what. If I am learning and growing and loving it then that is what really matters in the end to me. This is my passion.
