Perhaps the most appropriate words to describe the history of mankind on this planet are chaos and confusion. Our history is full of discontinuities and the sudden, unexplained appearance and disappearance of entire races of people.

Perhaps the major one of these discontinuities occurs in the Christian Bible in Genesis itself, Chapter 3, for it seems like everything we know about the Universe comes somewhere after the fall of Adam.
