To advertise and promote the Natural Healing that I am involved in.
What inspired you to launch your own website?
To be able to advertise outside of the town that I live in.
When did you launch your first website, and what was it?
My first websites were done at the same time. Albertas Wholistic Directory and this one.
How did you decide on a name for your website?
The name is the same as my registered company name.
What makes your website different from other, similar offerings?
My web sites are easy to read and not cluttered with a lot of pictures and such. I have a hard time focusing on other web sites as they have to me an overload of information on each page.
What is your eventual goal? (To sell it, keep it for income, secure a book or other mainstream media deal?)
The web site I will keep, as an advertising vessel, as the cost of it is less than newspaper adverising and reaches a larger region.
How does your investment of time and money balance against your success?
I am already recieving clients from the site and even if they have meet me they will go to the site to see what else I do.
If you had an unlimited development budget for development, how would you change your site?
I would have a larger work space and clinic. The funding would go into coarses that I want to take to provide more choises to my clients for the natural healing.
If your site got really big, really quickly, would you be able to keep up with the demand?
The site would not get too big, as I am using it for the advertising for my clinic. The Clinic business is more than welcome to really expand.
What unexpected costs and headaches have you had to deal with?
Not many, just working with the growth and wanting to get busier.
What has been your biggest challenge?
I found the biggest challange was figuring out how to get my sites to be better presented. A lot a phone calls and wonderful people to share info.
What method has been most successful for promoting your website?
The key works in the index page, linking and having the website listed on brouchers and business cards.
How has running your website differed from your expectations?
It has been a lot of fun and a lot of learning. I do all my own creating and upkeep.
How long have you run the site already, and how long will you continue to keep it up if you don't enjoy big gains in traffic, income or popularity?
The site has been up for just over a year, and I would like to keep it going. A good way to post upcoming classes and changes in treatments.
