The story of Alexandra Wiwcharuk's murder has stirred a great deal of public interest since it happened in May 1962.
Alexandra was a nurse and shared a basement apartment with three of her colleagues in Saskatoon, Canada. On the evening of May 18, 1962 she went for a walk and was seen at several locations throughout the town, the last of which was the riverbank. After not returning home and not turning up at work a search began and her body was not found nearly 2 weeks later on May 31.
She had been struck with concrete block, her skull was fractured, she had been raped, and then she was buried unconscious before she died, causing her to suffocate.
If still alive Alexandra would have turned 69 this year but instead the unsolved mystery of her death continues to fuel interest and rumours 46 years later.
Although some progress was made after her body was exhumed in 2004 this mystery is still far from solved and maybe psychic help is the next step.
