When did you start your website and why?
After having a private psychic reading practice, I decided to branch out on the web this year.
Please give us a short summary of your website, business model, etc
Psychic Goddess Wisdom is about empowering people through in-depth, accurate but still "uplifting" psychic readings.
What has been the most difficult part of creating and running your website?
Probably the design itself. I wanted something that reflected both my taste and still conveyed what the site was offering.
What has been the easist part of operating your website?
The wonderful technical support I receive from my webmaster!
What was your biggest mistake?
Probably trying to do it all myself in the beginning.
Who maintains your website and why?
My webmaster. She handles all technical issues, maintenance and design. I concentrate on providing clients the best customer service possible.
Tell us how your business has benefitted from your website?
At the moment, it is fairly new. However, past clients can email me and let me know how things are going for them. I have clients all around the world - and email certainly facilitates things.
What are your views on ecommerce and the future of the internet?
I believe that as long as a web site is "secure" (for transactions), it will continue to grow by leaps and bounds.
What are your views on Search Engine Optimization (SEO)?
I'm not the "techie" type, so I leave most of that to my webmaster!
What are your views on Search Engines? Have they helped or hindered your website?
I believe search engines are key - but only if they provide relevant results to peoples searches.
What method has been most successful for promoting your website?
Word of mouth.
What method has been least successful for promoting your website?
Purchasing advertising.
What would you like to see change with respect to the internet?
I particularly enjoy this new movement of interactivity. No longer is a static site the best - now you can leave comments, blog, and create a community!
