The primary focus of the website is to give you information about the work that I do; the body, mind, and spirit workshops that I teach and one on one sessions that I lead. If you are interested in spiritual growth, holistic Healing, Reiki, how to move forward in your life, then you have come to the right site! My wish is to share with you some of the knowledge, insights, and teachings that have helped me make progress on my own spiritual journey. There is a great need in the world at the present time for humanity to take a great leap forward in consciousness, so that we can restore balance to the planet and lead healthier, happier, more peaceful lifestyles. The key is willingness, awareness, knowledge, and effort. I trust that we can all learn from each other and each of us can help all of humanity to take that leap forward in awareness. ~~ What inspired you to launch your own website? To promote my workshops and one on one sessions, so that I can reach and help more people. When did you launch your first website, and what was it? This is my first website and it was launched in June 2008. How did you decide on a name for your website? I wanted to keep it simple so I used my last name. What makes your website different from other, similar offerings? The range of classes and one on one sessions that I offer is unique to me. What is your eventual goal? (To sell it, keep it for income, secure a book or other mainstream media deal?) To give more people information about my work so that I can reach more people who are looking for what I provide. How does your investment of time and money balance against your success? I am still in the process of building my business so right now it is a huge investment of my time, a significant investment of my money and results are improving. If you had an unlimited development budget for development, how would you change your site? I would advertize much more. If your site got really big, really quickly, would you be able to keep up with the demand? Yes, I would hire someone to help with enquiries resulting from greater web traffic. What unexpected costs and headaches have you had to deal with? Advertizing is expensive. Many people have been hurt by the current economic downturn and are less willing to spend money on the type of classes and sessions that I offer. What has been your biggest challenge? getting enough traffic to my website What method has been most successful for promoting your website? Including the website URL in my advertising in magazines How has running your website differed from your expectations? Much more time consuming than expected How long have you run the site already, and how long will you continue to keep it up if you don't enjoy big gains in traffic, income or popularity? The site has been up a year. My site designer still helps me tremendously. I will just keep going even if I don't get big gains in traffic.
