So, who is John W. Culbertson?
That's a big question! I'm an author and business person. For a long time I worked as a professional psychic and intuitive consultant, but these days most of my clients are previous clients who keep returning to me. I'm actually trying to move away from the "psychic" thing, as I sadly feel there is such a lack of respect for people who work within that field. Everyone, however, wants to improve life - so that's where my focus is at these days.
I have a degree in psychology and am working on a degree in mental health counseling. I'm also a Rosicrucian and Mason, though not as active as I once was.
Finally, as of June 12, 2010 I'm a husband and loving every minute of it.
If your site got really big, really quickly, would you be able to keep up with the demand?
The site is already growing faster than I thought it would. Despite this, I've not had any major problems so far. I tend to focus on the positive and that's what I try to help my site fans do. So I've no doubt Life Development Today will be able to handle 1,000 visitors a day or 1 visitor a day.
Any future plans?
I have a new book I'm working on. It's been edited, I just have to get back to focusing on it. Hopefully it will be finished by the end of 2010. I'm also planning a new website on Dating which should be a lot of fun. People who sign up for my Life Development Today free newsletter will be notified when the new site on dating is ready.
What has been your biggest challenge in life?
We all go through big challenges in life. I had a very rough childhood, a not so great last three years, and a lot of other difficult things. I've lost a lot of money and, well, there have been times when I've felt my life was a living hell. You know what though, I've always kept it in my mind that life will be whatever I make it to be, and so when the going gets rough I remember that I'm at least somewhat responsible for it and I start looking for ways change it and improve life.
What method has been most successful for promoting your website?
Word of mouth. I think word of mouth is the BEST way for anything to be promoted. People respect the opinion of someone they know, love, and trust. As I see this site grow, I want to know that it was mostly because people found out about it from someone they know and trust. That's such a great feeling knowing the site was suggested to others. So, if you love the site or find it useful, please do suggest it to friends so they can share it with you.
How has running your website differed from your expectations?
It really hasn't. Thankfully I've ran websites in the past and this one is no different. I'm just a little more educated and talented then I was then, so it looks and feels a little better.
How long have you run the site already, and how long will you continue to keep it up if you don't enjoy big gains in traffic, income or popularity?
