What inspired you to launch your own website?
I wanted to be able to help as many people as possible in England to overcome psychological and emotional problems using a combination of hypnotherapy and thought field therapy.
When did you launch your first website, and what was it?
My first website was my own website www.quaysclinic.co.uk which was launched when i first went into business for myself.
How did you decide on a name for your website?
I decided on the name of my website (Quays Clinic of Hypnotherapy) because i live in Royal Quays and run a professional hypnotherapy clinic.
What makes it different from other, similar offerings?
My website offers affordable cost effective hypnotherapy, thought field therapy at an affordable price to people from all over England. I offer a 50% discount for pensioners and students which cant afford other therapists fees. Using a combination of thought field therapy and hypnotherapy the results that i can acheive are more rapid than other therapists can offer which means that in most cases the number of sessions are limited to between one to three sessions which saves the client money.
What is your eventual goal? (To sell it, keep it for income, secure a book or other mainstream media deal?)
To make my website the most appealing to look at with quality information about hypnotherapy and thought field therapy on it, keeping my website simple so that all potential clients can understand and find with ease what they are looking for.
How does your investment of time and money balance against your success?
I am very busy with lots of new clients every month, with only having to spend a little money from time to time to update my site.
If you had an unlimited development budget for development, how would you change your site?
I would just keep on adding more and more quality information about hypnotherapy to my site. I would also hire the best available help that money could buy to make my website the best in the world.
If your site got really big, really quickly, would you be able to keep up with the demand?
Yes i would hire other professional therapists.
What unexpected costs and headaches have you had to deal with?
The internet going down from time to time because my internet website is one of my main ways in which i advertise.
What has been your biggest challenge?
To make my hypnotherapy clinic in to the successful practice that it is in the North East of England.
What method has been most successful for promoting your website?
Word of mouth from clients that have achieved a result at my clinic, and small newspaper adverts.
How has running your website differed from your expectations?
My website to me is like a living piece of work that needs to be continually updated as it matures to move with the times.
How long have you run the site already, and how long will you continue to keep it up if you don't enjoy big gains in traffic, income or popularity?
My site has been running for a couple of years now, and i am going to keep the website running for as long as i am in business which will be for many years to come.

Some websites are not appealing to the eyes using colours that would put me off straight away. Also websites that dont give me the information i am looking for straight away!
