In this blog we will try to find out about the basic concept of the "I" which we have been concentrating on since the past couple of days. Firstly let us try to see which parts of the body could be excluded from the "I", I mean something without which the "I" does not seem to make sense. This might give you an initial thought reaction that the body as a whole is the "I" but a little reflection would tell you that actually it is not so. Don't you think people without an arm or a leg or any other vital part such as eyes or ears do not feel aware of themselves?
Most people will now jump to the conclusion that the brain represents the "I" since it is the seat of thought processes and the control room of activity of all parts of the body. But we have seen people being in coma situation for years and yet not dead.
Infact this "I" is something very deep, something that forms the ultimate platform on which the very elixir of life itself stands and cannot be linked to any single point in the physical body of any creature or a human being.
