What inspired you to launch your own website?
I'm interested in mythical and mystical things, as well as spiritual and metaphysical stuff.

This year, 2008, it was www.freewebs.com/soulcleanser
How did you decide on a name for your website?
Mythical and Mystical seemed an appropriate name for the stuff I'm interested in.
What makes your website different from other, similar offerings?
Its high class quality goods, at affordable prices!!!
What is your eventual goal? (To sell it, keep it for income, secure a book or other mainstream media deal?)
To expand eventually to deliver all over the world.
How does your investment of time and money balance against your success?
I've had over 100 visitors since I set up Mythical and Mystical, though I'm sure I've put in well more than 100 hours, I update and develop the site myself. Success as we all know in online businesses, depends on getting yourself seen.
If you had an unlimited development budget for development, how would you change your site?
I would pay for more advertising.
If your site got really big, really quickly, would you be able to keep up with the demand?
Yes, we are a family run business, so there are always people around who are willing to help
What unexpected costs and headaches have you had to deal with?
Not too many, I set up my website free via office live, and paypal merchant account was free, which allowed me then to incorporate ecommerce to my site.
What has been your biggest challenge?
In getting my site noticed, when I have to compete with well known sites such as e-bay and amazon.
What method has been most successful for promoting your website?
Submitting my site for listings on various sites, sometimes free, sometimes with a mutual link
How has running your website differed from your expectations?
Ah, now expectations, they can only disappoint you!! You get out of anything exactly what you put in.
How long have you run the site already, and how long will you continue to keep it up if you don't enjoy big gains in traffic, income or popularity?
I've been running the site for one month, and I don't plan to give it up any time soon.
