DreamMaster is a site created by Dayna Winters, a professional editor, writer, and dream consultant/interpreter. Dayna earned an Associate in the Arts from Hudson Valley Community College where she took up Individual Studies. She later graduated magna cum laude and with English program honors from Sage College in Troy, New York in 2008, having earned her Bachelor of Arts in English. she has found that through her years of studying a range of literature that the act of interpreting dreams is much like the act of interpreting symbols and archetypes in literature. Dayna combines her understanding of literature with her intuitive abilities to give intensely accurate dream interpretations to her clients.~~ What inspired you to launch your own website? My profound interest in dreams and my past experience in conducting dream interpretations for others. When did you launch your first website, and what was it? The website is newly launched as of December 2008. The site contains a blog, sample dream interpretations, and dream interpretation ordering options which are far more affordable than most dream interpretation offers. How did you decide on a name for your website? DreamMaster is a term that conveys my ability to interpret a person's dreams and the dreamer's ability to use dreams in order to master life situations. What makes your website different from other, similar offerings? The interpretation offerings are truly affordable and are greatly detailed at every level. What is your eventual goal? (To sell it, keep it for income, secure a book or other mainstream media deal?) My goal is to make dream interpretation a full time venture. How does your investment of time and money balance against your success? Right now, the site is in its earliest beginnings and the majority of my work is focused on freelance endeavors. In the future, I plan to have my dream interpretation work integrated into my general freelance writing options. If you had an unlimited development budget for development, how would you change your site? I would focus on dream interpretation full time! If your site got really big, really quickly, would you be able to keep up with the demand? Yes, I would make it a point to do so. What unexpected costs and headaches have you had to deal with? None thus far; but that doesn't mean I don't believe that problems can't arise. They will need to be dealt with as they arise. What has been your biggest challenge? Making the site have the most professional appearance possible. What method has been most successful for promoting your website? Article writing mostly. How has running your website differed from your expectations? It hasn't: I am very realistic about my expectations and I know that it takes time to get a website off the ground and fully operational. How long have you run the site already, and how long will you continue to keep it up if you don't enjoy big gains in traffic, income or popularity?
