Awakening Consciousness to strengthen your being while encouraging Universal Awareness.. Also provides book reviews. A spiritual outlet for everyone!
What inspired you to launch your own website?
I live in a very small minded community and I wanted a way to socialize with like minded individuals.
When did you launch your first website, and what was it?
www.aurasenseguide.com is my first website and I launched in October 2007.
How did you decide on a name for your website?
My name was created by my mother and I. I wanted to make a name easy to remember that would express the importance of spirituality.
What makes your website different from other, similar offerings?
My website is different because it encourages ALL people to contribute what they feel is important spiritually to them. Be it a saying or an article I enmcourage it all. Also I provide book reviews that allow indivudals to feel out the book that they might need to encourage their own spiritual growth.
What is your eventual goal? (To sell it, keep it for income, secure a book or other mainstream media deal?)
I have accomplished one of my goals and that is writing and getting published my book "Awakening Consciousness A Girl's Guide!" The respnse has been overwhelming. I also offer workshops all over the United States "ChakraCize Your Spirit: For Kids and Their Grown-ups!" this workshop encourages the growth of self awareness in children. It also coorelates with the book.
How does your investment of time and money balance against your success?
My success cannot be measured in terms of money. I just want people to walk their own path and encourage Universal Awareness. Knowing that the world has so much to offer can really change a persons life.
If you had an unlimited development budget for development, how would you change your site?
I would travel lots more!
If your site got really big, really quickly, would you be able to keep up with the demand?
Absolutely. This is my passion and desire. I thrive off encouraging Universal Awareness and self awareness. I want people to use my book to see the bigger picture and love themselves.
What unexpected costs and headaches have you had to deal with?
None
What has been your biggest challenge?
My biggest challenge has been to keep spiritually high in such a small minded town.
What method has been most successful for promoting your website?
Good old legwork. I spend many of hours contacting people through email and trying to get interviews and such. But I know it is paying off when I get reviews of my website and book that show the difference what I am doing is making in the world.
How has running your website differed from your expectations?
It hasn't!
How long have you run the site already, and how long will you continue to keep it up if you don't enjoy big gains in traffic, income or popularity?
I will continue my site forever just encouraging articles and input from others to help it grow and flourish.
