Meta-Visionaries Interview Name of your website?Meta-Visionaries Your name? Debbie Edwards Your Location (city, etc) Pacific Northwest Please give us a short summary of your website? We're a Social Network with a Consciousness focused on Ascension & Transcendence where Mind/Body/Spirit are ONE. **Learning*Teaching*Inspiring** From holistic practitioners to spiritual advisors, psychics, astrologers, authors, musicians, artists, and much more!~~ What inspired you to launch your own website? I wanted something more interactive and inclusive than traditional social networks that could focus on spiritual topics. When did you launch your first website, and what was it? Back in the day years ago I launched my first site for grief support and mediumship called The Glass House Grief Management Association. No longer is it up and running or maintained. How did you decide on a name for your website? Brainstorming! What makes your website different from other, similar offerings? We're a network of extraordinary people making a difference in the lives of others. Most of the people who have profiles here offer many articles, blogs, forums, groups and more on their own area of expertise; ompassionate, informed and experienced people who can offer counsel and inspiration to others. And on a side note, no corporate ads to get in the way! What is your eventual goal? (To sell it, keep it for income, secure a book or other mainstream media deal?) For this network to continue to grow in which it can be a global source and resource for those seeking spiritual growth, success and answers. How does your investment of time and money balance against your success? I dedicate a full time schedule online towards this website and conducting sessions for other people so my time is spent on these endevors above other means of financial income. If you had an unlimited development budget for development, how would you change your site? Innovation! There is always a creative way to expand. If your site got really big, really quickly, would you be able to keep up with the demand? Absolutely. I expect growth and am preparing for such a situation. What unexpected costs and headaches have you had to deal with? None thus far except I pay a monthly fee to keep all corporate pre=programmed ads off the site. But those costs are covered through private sessions I already offer. As time continues, I plan to offer ad space on the front of the site for a minimal monthly fee that advertises services and products related to the focus of the site. What has been your biggest challenge? Too many ideas, too little time! What method has been most successful for promoting your website? Word of mouth and posting fun bulletins and ads to gain exposure. How has running your website differed from your expectations? It hasn't. How long have you run the site already, and how long will you continue to keep it up if you don't enjoy big gains in traffic, income or popularity? I just launched it less than a month ago and we already have almost 100 members. I plan for it to keep growing and is pretty easy to run and moderate. Give a brief description of the site. This is a place where peeple can build their own profiles, add music, blogs, create forums, discussions, add videos, pictures and more!! What is your website address?
